Harry Keefe
Harry Keefe, M.D., draws on nearly three decades of practical medical experience as a primary care physician in Pueblo, Colorado. Dr. Keefe co-founded Pueblo Family Medicine in 2000, and operates privately and with full privileges in a group practice affiliation at Parkview Hospital. Dr. Harry Keefe also holds courtesy privileges with Saint Mary Corwin Hospital, as well as with numerous nursing facilities throughout the Pueblo area.
Dr. Harry Keefe earned his medical degree with honors from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver. While in medical school, he instituted a personal tradition of excellence, receiving such distinctions as the Merck Award for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement in Medical Studies. After graduation, Dr. Keefe completed both an internship and residency in family medicine, then accepted the positions of Medical Director at Columbine Manor Nursing Home and staff emergency room physician at Salida Hospital, concurrently. Additionally, he practiced family medicine in the small rural office of David M. Arnett, M.D., P.C., maintaining full privileges with Heart of the Rockies Medical Center, also affiliated with Salida Hospital.
In 1996, Dr. Harry Keefe joined the Physicians Network of Colorado Springs to continue his work in family medicine, later accepting a position at The Southern Colorado Clinic before establishing his own private practice. Initially earning board certification in 1985, he obtained recertification in 1993, 2000, and 2007, each time gaining placement among the top 10 percent of family medicine physicians as designated by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Keefe maintains professional affiliations with both the American and Colorado Boards of Family Medicine.
In addition to caring for his patients, Dr. Keefe enjoys playing golf and breeding and showing Alaskan malamutes and Siberian huskies. He currently resides in Pueblo, Colorado.
